Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

elefcode provides free, browser-based developer utilities. By using the site you agree to these terms.

“As-is” service

The tools are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. While we aim for correctness, we do not guarantee that output (hashes, tokens, conversions, diagrams, etc.) is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. Verify anything important independently.

Acceptable use

Use the tools lawfully. Do not use them to create, process, or distribute content that is illegal or infringes others' rights. You are responsible for the data you process.

Your content

What you make with the tools is yours — code, diagrams, schemas, designs and pages included. We claim no rights in it and never receive it. The templates, examples and sample data in the tools may be used freely in your own work.

Intellectual property

The site itself — its source code, design, layout, text, guides, cheat sheets, logo and the elefcode name — belongs to elefcode and is protected by copyright and other laws. All rights reserved.

You may use the tools freely, but you may not copy, download, scrape, mirror, reverse-engineer, redistribute or republish the site or any substantial part of it, or use it to build a competing service, without our written permission. This applies whether the copying is done by hand, with automated tools or with AI. Open-source components keep their own licences; this section does not limit your rights under them.

Trademarks and open-source software

Product and company names mentioned on the site (such as Docker, GitHub, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Python, Blockly and Mermaid) are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe what the tools work with. elefcode is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. The site is built with open-source software used under its own licences; see thethird-party licences.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, elefcode and its maintainers are not liable for any damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its output.

Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All tools run locally in your browser.
