About the Email Signature Generator
Email clients are much stricter than browsers: many ignore stylesheets, modern layout and web fonts. A signature that looks right everywhere needs simple tables, inline styles and system fonts — exactly what this generator writes.
Fill in your details, then press “Copy signature” and paste it into your email program’s signature settings. Nothing you type leaves your browser.
Adding it to Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail
Gmail: Settings → See all settings → General → Signature, then paste. Outlook: Settings → Mail → Compose and reply (web) or File → Options → Mail → Signatures (desktop), then paste. Apple Mail: Settings → Signatures, add one, untick “Always match my default message font”, then paste.
About images
Email signatures cannot embed uploaded images reliably, so the photo is loaded from a public URL — for example your website, LinkedIn photo link or an image host. Some clients hide images until the reader allows them, so the signature is designed to read well without one.
How to use it
- 1Enter your name, role and contact details.
- 2Add a photo URL and social links if you like.
- 3Pick a layout, accent colour and font.
- 4Press Copy signature and paste it into your mail settings.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my signature look different after pasting?
Paste with the Copy signature button rather than copying the HTML source, and avoid editing it afterwards in the mail client’s editor, which can strip styles.
Can I use a custom font?
Most email clients ignore web fonts, so the generator offers fonts installed on almost every computer. Custom fonts would fall back to one of these anyway.
How do I add a logo instead of a photo?
Put your logo’s image URL in the photo field and untick Round photo.
Will links work on phones?
Yes. Phone numbers become tel: links and emails become mailto: links, so tapping them calls or starts a new email.
Is my information stored anywhere?
It stays in your browser. The page remembers your last entries locally so you can come back and edit them.
